At Birthvillage we believe in prevention and early detection and stress the importance of a complete annual wellness exam for healthy women of all ages.
This includes:

• Pap-smear test
• Breast exams and self breast exams are taught
• General physical exam
• Preconceptual counseling
• Contraception counseling: including natural family planning, hormonal contraception, diaphragms and cervical caps, IUD’s (Mirena and Paraguard)
• STI (sexually transmitted infections) screening and counseling
• Laboratory tests
• Holistic treatment of common conditions such as yeast and UTI, referrals for mammograms, ultrasounds
